Patriots announce undrafted free agents

The Patriots officially announced the signing of veteran RB Joseph Addai, and seven undrafted free agents.

The undrafted free agents will be taking part in the team's rookie camp, which starts Friday and is closed to the public. They will be joined by the seven draft picks, and a host of tryout players.

The newest rookies:

RB Brandon Bolden, Mississippi (5-11, 215): Had 462 yards on 96 carries last season, but finished second in school history in touchdowns and fourth in rushing yards.

DL Marcus Forston, Miami (6-3, 300): Had 37 total tackles and three sacks before an injury limited him last season.

DE Justin Francis, Rutgers (6-4, 275): Had 60 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, one interception and five passes defensed last season.

TE Brad Herman, Iowa (6-5, 255): Had eight catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

WR Matt Roark, Kentucky (6-5, 214): Posted 36 receptions for 349 yards last season.

OL Jeremiah Warren, South Florida (6-4, 329): All-Big East second-team at guard as a senior.

T Markus Zusevics, Iowa (6-5, 300): Started at right tackle his final two seasons and was honorable mention All-Big Ten as a senior.
