Beverly native Angela Miller, 18, continued to please the judges on last night's "group" round of "American Idol" in Hollywood, Calif. She and fellow group-mates Kez Ban, Breanna Steer, and Janelle Arthur performed The Ronettes' "Be My Little Baby," which received a standing ovation from Nicki Minaj, calling them "the best group of the day." Watch the video of the performance above.

The group, which dubbed themselves The Misfits, went through ups and downs throughout the episode as member Kez Ban parted ways with the rest of the singers to get dinner and head to bed early. The group was the last to perform and got a resounding "yes" from the judges, pushing the four women through to the next round: solo performances.

Miller first auditioned in New York and quickly became a favorite of Minaj, who commented after her performance that the recent high school grad's rendition of "Mama Knows Best" by Jessie J "Makes me feel something in my soul."

Last night "Idol" gave viewers a sneak peek into an upcoming episode, which showed Miller singing and playing the piano as the promo announced that one contestant will have a "break-out" performance, resulting in a standing ovation from all four judges. Is this Miller's performance they're referring to as "break-out"? We'll just have to watch to find out. Tonight's episode will reveal the top 20 men and women for this season.
