A rollover today on Interstate 495 in Hopkinton sent multiple people to the hospital and caused delays in traffic, Massachusetts State Police said.

Police responded to the single-car crash about a half-mile from Exit 21A in Hopkinton around 11:30 a.m. One person was trapped in the vehicle. A total of six were sent to the UMass Medical Center in Worcester with injuries that were not life threatening.

All lanes were closed for rescue efforts and traffic was diverted to a single lane. The roadway later reopened at 12:35 p.m.
