Mar 30, 2012 10:29 AM

A man who is a suspect in an attempted murder case in Boston has been arrested at a hotel in Portsmouth, N.H.

Police arrested 35-year-old Jason Tyrone Coles of St. Roxbury, Mass., about 7:20 p.m. Thursday. Coles was being held without bail as a fugitive from justice and was being arraigned in Portsmouth on Friday.

Also arrested was 29-year-old Keyana Carter of Roxbury on charges alleging possession of marijuana.

Police say the case in Boston stems from a March 13 incident in which a retired teacher was attacked.
