OKLAHOMA CITY -- An NBA source told the Globe today that Celtics guard Rajon Rondo will replace Atlanta swingman Joe Johnson in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game. Johnson has an injured knee and will not play.

Rondo is serving the second of a two-game suspension tonight for throwing the ball at official Sean Wright during Sunday's loss to the Detroit Pistons. Rondo is expected to be in Orlando to meet with the media Friday.

It will be Rondo's third All-Star appearance. He was visibly disappointed about not being named to the team last week. Rondo missed eight games in January and early February with a sprained right wrist.
